How to keep momentum

It's February 1st and all through January we have been riding the New Year wave in some way or another, the problem is we don't want it to stop. And it doesn't have too :) and even of January wasn't quite how you have planned it to be it's ok because this will help as well. I want to share a couple of tips with you that will help you keep the momentum going well into February and beyond.

Celebrate the little things you have done in the past month and as you achieve them going forward. We all become a bit too focused on the big picture we sometimes can feel like a failure because we are not there yet. Without realising all the other fab stuff you have done in the mean time.

Make mini goals to help achieve the big ones so you bring more a focus to what you are doing. Then when you complete them you can do the above :)

Create a plan , one of the best things you can do to keep going is to have something to follow. Set targets for the week ahead, plan your workouts and meal ideas and get everything scheduled in a diary of a kind. And this includes self care, social events and date nights.

Allow yourself time off. Don't be all systems go because you will end up burning out and we definitely don't want that to happen. It's ok to rest, to step back and allow yourself some me time. It doesn't mean you have failed and it 100% doesn't make you any less of a person.

Finally ... keep your why fresh in your mind. It needs to be strong enough to create the need to complete it, an emotional attachment that drives you. When something means something personal to you then there is more of a drive for you to keep going.

And remember ... YOU HAVE GOT THIS !!!!
