What better way to spend a crisp sunny Saturday than sipping a mulled wine browsing market stalls whilst listening to live music. Which was exactly what Elliot and I did when we were invited to the Victorian Christmas Fair at the Lowry Outlet. It was in partnership with The Makers Market so there was a variety of food stalls, baked goods, homemade gifts and people showcasing artwork, crockery etc. There was also some Victorian inspired stalls and acts which was great in creating an atmosphere. Living in the city centre I walk past the markets every day so it was nice to go somewhere else and experience something a little bit different.

We were treated to a mulled wine and hotdog from The Dog Haus which sadly I couldn't eat but Elliot thoroughly enjoyed both and the mulled wine was lovely. So I decided to get a little something sweet and there was a lot of stalls to choose from. In the end I went for a peanut butter chocolate cookie from the Nicely Kitchen, a vegan baking company, and as an avid pb lover this was perfect
A walk along the quays looking at more stalls, taking in an act and a carousel ride rounded off our visit and it was great.
This market has finished however the Lowry will be holding another market in the form of the magical kind on 16th Dec so I would highly recommend if you are free to pop on over and check it out.

I was invited down to the markets and given complimentary food & drink but all the words are my own
