I've been doing a lot more baking lately and if you follow me on instagram you will have seen these tasty treats pop up so I thought I would share a few with you.

Vanilla and Chocolate Cake Bars

Perfect low carb treats that will satisfy any sweet craving

Makes 4

Macros inc topping: 14.5F 5C 16P 220cals


58g Vanilla Protein powder

30g Coconut flour

6g Chocolate PPB

60 ml liquid egg whites ( or 2 egg whites if using normal eggs)

32g 100% cocoa mass chips

30 ml vanilla skinny syrup

1 tsp baking powder

Unsweetend Almond Milk


* Blend all the ingredients together minus the chips and milk.

*Add milk slowly to the mixture until it becomes a cake batter consistency

*Stir in the chips

*Pour mixture into a greased cake tin or tray

*Bake at 180 degrees for about 10/12 mins or until golden brown

Optional topping:

35g crunchy Meridians peanut butter

Tblsp Cocoa powder

TRKG vanilla skinny syrup

Mix all together until it becomes spreadable.

Chocolate protein krispie bars

Makes 4

Macros per bar: 6.7F 24.6C 21.5P


60g Musclefood Vitafibre syrup

30g Vanilla protein

40g Musclefood protein krispies

10g Sweet Freedom choc shot

1 tsp cocoa powder

15 ml unsweetend almond milk

15ml TRKG toffee skinny syrup

20g Musclefood 100% cocoa chips


*Heat the vitafibre syrup in the microwave for 30 secs

*Mix it with all the other ingredients

*Place into a lined baking tray and refridgerate until firm

Sweet potato brownies

Makes 4 (or 8 bites)

Macros per bar 1F 13.1C 15.4P 123 cals

(pictured are topped with chocolate ppb)


240g cooked peeled sweet potato

60 ml liquid egg whites / 2 egg whites

62g Chocolate Peanut Butter Natural Whey

1 tblsp Cocoa powder

50 ml unsweetened almond milk


*Puree/Blend the sweet potato

*Then add all the other ingredients - add more milk if needed

*Pour into a greased baking tin

*Bake for 10-15 mins at 180 degrees

You could add chocolate chips into the brownie mixture if you wanted. Optional toppings include ppb, protein frosting, chocolate icing.

Strawberry White Chocolate muffins

Makes 6

Macros per muffin: 1.3F 6.5C 12.5P 93 cals

With topping: 1.5F 7.2C 15.7P 112 cals


2 scoops Strawberry Natural Whey protein

25g oats

10g coconut sugar

50g Greek yogurt (Fage 0%)

2 tsp baking powder

60ml liquid egg whites/ 2 egg whites

Unsweetened Almond Milk


*Whisk egg whites until soft peaks

*Mix all the other ingredients together then fold in the egg whites

*Put in muffin cases and bake for 8-12 minutes at 160 - they dont need long

Optional topping:

Greek yogurt mixed with 1/2 scoop vanilla protein and white chocolate skinny syrup

Coconut, Raspberry and Banana loaf with Cream cheese filling

Makes 5 slices

Macros per slice: 7F 10.6C 16.7P 166 cals


2 medium bananas (165g)

60g Coconut and Raspberry Natural Whey protein

15g coconut flour

60ml liquid egg whites

45g crunchy peanut butter (Meridans)

30ml TRKG vanilla skinny syrup (white chocolate or raspberry would also work)

Unsweetened almond milk


*Whisk egg whites into soft peaks

*Mash the bananas and mix the whey, flour and syrup with them

*Add the peanut butter before folding in the egg whites. Add a dash of milk

*Alternatively you could blend all the ingredients apart from the egg whites

*Pour into a loaf tin and bake for 15 mins at 180 degrees

Whilst cooling prepare the filling

*60g fat free cottage cheese

*10g vanilla whey

Blend together

Slice the loaf in half and spread the filing inside. Then you can drizzle some choc shot out if you fancy
