Last week started off great - I had fit into my skirt the previous saturday I was feeling really good about my progress and where i was going.
Then BAM mid week the blues hit me like a ton of bricks and i couldnt have felt worse - body confidence down, negative thoughts the whole lot. And I bet I'm not alone in feeling like this, like no progress is being made and all you want to do is crawl into bed and hibenate (with or without ben&jerrys)
BUT you don't need to instead take the negativity and flip its on its head. Look back at how far you have come and remember how you felt earlier on. One bad day is just that a bad day - its not the end of journey and you will have so much more to give.
SO i picked myself up out of my slump by having a good rant to anyone who would listen, revisiting my goals and remembering why I started. Basically getting my focus back to get me back on track!
You might need to take a day or a week to give your mind a break but just make sure you start again ready to take on the world.
REMEMBER sometimes it takes an outside eye to see the changes so take pictures these are a great progress indicator. Ask a friend / family member for their advice and opinion i bet you will be plesently surprised :)
WRITE down 3-5 things that you have achived that make you happy every morning/ evening for a week.
BE ready and raring to go and make those dreams a reality !!
