You take a step back and looked at the whole picture that is your life and ask yourself if its what you want it to look like.
Embracing a fit and healthy lifestyle is great and everyone should be doing this. BUT you need to remember the key word that is LIFESTYLE therefore it should include everything that makes up your life - family, friends, work, hobbies etc. Don't let it become an obsession that takes over and stops you enjoying the little things.
BALANCE IS KEY - you can take a rest day if you want, go out for a meal with family/friends on a whim , change it up a bit slow down and notice what is happening around you.
You want to look back and have memories to revisit so just bear that in mind when you cancel yet another social event because it could ruin your efforts. One missed workout, one off plan meal won't stop or ruin your progress.
